The company started in Singapore as a trading entity in 1970 under the name of Woods International Pte Ltd, which now becomes the marketing arm of veterinary products in Singapore and Malaysia. It is also our official tendering agency for pharmaceutical products to the public sector in Singapore.

The manufacturing activity was first started in 1975 for the range of veterinary products under Carrington brand. In the 1980s, we obtained Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) certification from Ministry of Health (Singapore) for production of human pharmaceuticals. Our facilities are capable of producing oral preparations, external preparations, creams and ointments. Our product range includes pharmaceuticals (both ethical and over-the-counter), pet care and veterinary products, personal care products, cosmetics, household products and chemicals for industrial uses. We also do packing of solid dosage forms such as tablets and capsules for our clients.

ICM is now one of the largest local pharmaceutical manufacturers in Singapore. We have expanded into an organisation with over 60 staffs, headed by a group of professionals including pharmacists, quality control and R&D chemists, microbiologist and trained technicians.

With the technology and experience acquired over the past 33 years, and in collaboration with leading experts locally and overseas, ICM aims to serve the global needs and in particular the Asia Pacific countries. Our company is keen on exploring overseas markets and would welcome any opportunity to expand our distribution channels worldwide.

With the official cGMP certification, stringent quality control, customer driven programmes and product innovation, ICM aims to become a leading contract R&D center and at the same time, a contract manufacturer. In Singapore where production cost is high, our strategy is to produce high value added innovative products for the markets we are engaged in.
